This course introduces general and advanced concepts and techniques for Software Engineering. The course provides a useful technical foundation for the design and implementation of large-scale, high-quality software systems. It involves the exploration of Object Oriented techniques with a particular emphasis on analysis (OOA) and design (OOD) with implementations in network (web) environments. In addition, formal (mathematical) techniques are used to specify and derive implementations of software systems. The aim is to reveal programming methods, languages and environments that are useful in the development of software systems. Assessment includes assignments and an examination.
